Test 11: Lord of the Flies
Lord of the Flies Performance Task:
Step 1 – Choose a character (Ralph -Yellow, Jack – Orange, Piggy - Green, Simon - Blue)
Step 2 – Choose the materials you are going to use on your mask (Plastic mask, palm fronds, construction paper, miscellaneous craft material)
Step 3 – Design the mask using the four symbols from the book (conch, fire, beast, piggy's glasses)
Step 4 – Include a quote from the character that best describes their personality (look at Chapter 5)
Step 5 – Write a poem of at least 8 lines x 5 words = 40 words total) using the adjectives from the "True Color Notes"
Video Presentation: You need to recite your poem for the presentation.
Step 6 – Include pictures of your mask, as well as voices overs in your OneNote for your presentation.
Answer the following questions for your presentation using Audio in your OneNote:
How would you describe your character's personality?
Why did you choose this character?
How do you relate to this character?
